God's Tipster's Wednesday Churchill Downs Pick: The 8th, sprint for fillies & mares, has 4yo Unsolved Mystery

We’re back for another exciting week of racing from around the US! Plenty of Thanksgiving weekend racing to be thankful for and in the meantime we’ll whet our appetite with some Wednesday racing from Churchill Downs where we’ll have cloudy conditions. I’m only handicapping for dirt racing. Let’s get started!

Churchill Downs:

Race 8: Unsolved Mystery - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

Allowance/Optional Claimers sprint 6 1/2 furlongs in this race for fillies and mares. I am looking to crack the secret to this race with Unsolved Mystery. This four-year-old daughter of Goldencents returns off a March layoff for trainer Bill Morey, who wins with runners off similar layoffs at a 21% clip. In a previous life, Unsolved Mystery was a stakes winner in the 2022 Arizona Oaks at Turf Paradise and placing in a few stakes at Emerald Downs in Washington State. In her sole start at Churchill Downs she ran a career best effort, finishing second behind stakes winner Famed, while defeating graded stakes winner Hidden Connection. Unsolved Mystery has been working well for her return effort and her odds should be fair.
