God's Tipster's Friday Belmont at Aqueduct Pick: In 7th, a sprint for New York-breds, one looks like a Boss

Race 8: 2nd@ 4.60/1

In Race 1, debut runner Walk With Me was away well from post 2 and kept finding while being pressed throughout ultimately hanging on to win by a head at 8/1, giving our members a nice score. In Race 5, Necessaryandproper never made the lead but instead chased the eventual winner - Classic Diva throughout and had to settle for third. In Race 8, Golden Rocket rated just off the pace by Jose Gomez and moved too late to get to Masterofthe Tunes, who rated kindly for Jose Ortiz.

Let’s take a look at a Friday race card from Aqueduct where we’re expecting fast and firm conditions.

Race 7: Be the Boss - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 2/1)

Allowance runners bred in New York sprint 6 1/2 furlongs and while there are a few improving runners in here I think Be the Boss is very much the boss of this group. Last time out he stumbled at the start and weakened late but most of his recent speed figures are simply faster than those of his competitors. Three works since the most recent start and he owns the best speed while breaking from the inside post. Gate to wire and this offers VERY good value at his 2/1 morning line odds.
