Thursday’s Race Recap from Churchill Downs:

(All odds US)

Churchill Downs:

Race 5: 1st@ 1.01/1 🔥🔥BEST BET🔥🔥

Race 6: 4th@ 5.00/1

Race 7: SCRATCH

In Race 5 it was our BEST BET 🔥🔥 Rivalry, who was absolutely unrivaled winning in gate to wire fashion. In Race 6, Go Cats stalked and faded.

We will remain at Churchill Downs for Friday’s races. There’s nothing but sunny skies in the forecast but all turf races have been taken off the green so far this week. I’m gambling a little here by handicapping for two turf races but i don’t want to miss an opportunity.

Make room in your driveway for the Brinks truck!! Let’s get set to win some money.

Churchill Downs:

Race 10: Anthonian - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

Restricted two-year-old maidens sprint six furlongs on the main track and I like a price here named Anthonian. This gelded son of Air Force Blue didn’t have the best welcome to the races finishing 9th on debut beaten 15 1/2 lengths on turf but he’s one of only three in this field with actual racing experience. That gives him an advantage from the start. Since 2020, trainer Randy Moss has run only a pair of two-year-olds going from turf to dirt. The first broke his maiden by 7 1/4 lengths and the second one finished 3rd in a stake beaten 3/4 of a length at 17/1 odds. Moss’s overall numbers with runners going from turf to dirt in sprint races are a strong 18% over this circuit at average odds of just north of 6/1. We should get higher odds than that today based on his lousy debut on turf. The good news is that he’s bred to handle dirt fine and his most recent workout signals readiness. Looks live at 10/1 or higher.

Best of luck to all our members playing Fridays races from Churchill Downs!
