In Race 1, Get Spooled took them gate to wire on debut to get our members a 6/1 win. We scratched in Race 6 with Stuck On You and in Race 10, Sinaloa was last early and never rallied while wide into the stretch.
Let’s move into a potentially rainy Friday card. I don’t think it’s going to rain enough to come off the turf so I’m still going to handicap for fast and firm and probably regret it later. Let’s GO!!!!
Saratoga:
Race 10: Detroit City - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 3/1)
Five selections on a Friday? You’ve gotta be kidding me? Get ahold of yourself it’s the freakin’ weekend and we’re looking to go out winners with the newly gelded Detroit City who drops to one of the lowest levels of his career. Detroit City has been facing tougher fields and returns off an April layoff. I don’t know that anyone in this field is as fast as he is early, and that asset combined with the inside post make him a dangerous runner here and good value at 3/1 with a top rider in Luis Saez aboard.
