Thursday’s Race Recap from Belmont:

(All odds US)

Belmont Park:

Race 1: 2nd@ 0.80/1

Race 2: 1st@ 1.50/1 - BEST BET 🔥🔥🔥

Race 3: 3rd@ 4.80/1

Race 6: 8th@ 14.40/1

Race 7: 4th@ 0.95/1

Race 9: SCRATCH

Our day/week began with a BRUTAL trip in Race 1 on Gram, who was the best horse today but didn’t get a chance to prove it. Checked badly back to last place from her rail post early in this 5 furlong turf sprint (never good), Gram rallied between horses all the way up for second galloping out past the winner after the wire. Gram was lined at 9/2 but ended up going off at 4/5 odds. In Race 2, (which scratched down to four horses) Midnight Stroll stalked the pace and blew by heavy favorite Good Sam as our BEST BET of the day. In Race 3, Spettro shot to the lead as expected and led til midstretch but couldn’t hold off the late charge by two closers. In Race 6, Reigning Chick dropped well behind, angled out near the five-eighths, went five wide on the turn then seven wide in the stretch where the rider lost his crop and never rallied. In Race 7, Runningwscissors raced 4 wide to upper stretch then flattened out.

Let’s stay at Belmont for Friday’s races. Fast and firm conditions are expected. Here we go!

Belmont Park:

Race 10: Echo in Eternity - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 7/2)

Maidens bred in New York sprint 6 furlongs here. We had Echo in Eternity when she made her debut over a sloppy track in a driving rain storm at Aqueduct. This massive four-year-old daughter of Connect spun her wheels a bit over the sloppy going but should get a fast track today. She had been working well and will only improve with that experience under her belt. Second place finisher that day came back to break her maiden and trainer Danny Gargan is 19% on the year.

Best of luck to all our members playing Friday’s races from Belmont !
