God's Tipster's Sunday Churchill Downs pick: The 9th, the Grade 3 Mint Julep, is a route for fillies and mares

Saturday’s Race Recap from Belmont:

Belmont Park:

Race 2: 4th@ 4.30/1

Race 6: 6th@ 13.30/1

Race 7: 9th@ 42.50/1

Race 9: 2nd@ 1.75/1

Race 10: SCRATCH

In Race 2 Settling Storm went to the lead and led til mid-stretch before being overhauled and finished fourth. In Race 6, Michele M. stalked and faded. In Race 7, Arrow of Time raced in mid pack before tiring badly late. In Race 9, Far Bridge had a weird trip for the second race in a row. He was chasing a loose leader who got away with murder on the front end. Far Bridge came under a ride dropping back to last on the far turn but rallied late on the inside and closed good ground for second while gaining on the eventual winner.

An all around “meh” day for us on Saturday but we’re coming back FIRING!!!! on Sunday with 7 selections on the day !!!!!

We’ve got racing from Belmont and Churchill Downs set for Sunday. Fast and firm conditions are expected. TWO BEST BETS on the day. One at each track. Good luck with your wagers let’s make some money!!

Race 9: Sweet Dani Girl - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 4/1)

The Grade 3 Mint Julep for fillies and mares at a mile and a sixteenth is our feature race on today’s card. Like race 8, this appears to be another opportunity to exploit inside speed in a pace-less race and that’s exactly why I selected Sweet Dani Girl. Last time out she nearly wired the Grade 3 Modesty Stakes on Kentucky Oaks day. She was run down by Didia, who’s won her last seven starts. She’s a perfect 1 for 1 at today’s distance, has two works under her belt in preparation for today’s affair and looks like she may lead them on a merry chase.
