Race 9: SCRATCH
In Race 1, Ransom Style was out near the pace by Irad Ortiz, tipped out entering the stretch and finished in a blanket photo for fifth beaten less than two lengths for all the marbles. In Race 7, Irad got redemption on Kikilove as he stalked the early pace, made his move to the lead on the far turn and began to draw off to the wire at 3/1 odds. In Race 9 the debuting Given to Fly was a late scratch.

Race 5: Strand of Gold - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 7/2)
Maiden optional claimers go a mile on the lawn in our last of three turf races we’re playing today. Strand of Gold is the selection based on her body of work. She’s shown the most consistent numbers over her brief career. She hails from a barn that’s 22% at this meet and while she lost by 5 lengths in her most recent start, her final fraction of 28.93 puts her above the rest of her competition. Based on her most recent start she’s simply faster. She gets a rider upgrade to Edgard Zayas today and should get the perfect trip from her rail post.
