Gulfstream Park:

Race 3: 1st@ 0.80/1 BEST BET 🔥🔥🔥

Race 4: 3rd@ 2.40/1

Race 5: 4th@ 3.20/1

Race 6: 3rd@ 3.20/1

We began our Thursday with a BEST BET win as Khozeiress went to the lead and turned back two challenges enroute to an emphatic six length score in career start number two. In Race 4, Tiz Bizness was shuffled back early off the pace and then jockey Emma Jayne Wilson seemed to have trouble handling her. She did rally on for third. In Race 5 Jais’s Solitude was taken back off a hot pace but didn’t have the necessary punch when it counted. In Race 6, Jrue Breeze broke last and made a move around the far turn and finished with a late rally for third.

We caught a BEST BET winner but squandered an opportunity to make a positive impression on our monthly ROI with only third and fourth place finishes from there on. The next time I select two runners ridden by Emma Jayne Wilson in a day will be the day I’m committed to the psych ward.

It’s Friday and we’re RACING at Gulfstream!!! Fast and firm conditions are expected. Let’s get to work.

Gulfstream Park:

Race 6: Gomomischief - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

Florida-bred maidens race a mile over the turf. Once again, I’m not overly impressed with the runners with starts under their belt so I’m siding with the regally bred Gomomischief on debut here. Sired by world class sire Into Mischief out of the Grade 1 Alcibiades winning dam Gomo, Gomomischief is bred to be any kind. This is a turf course that has favored speed all meet long and she’s drawn to the rail with a three furlong workout as her most recent work. That tells me they’re looking to send her today or at least focus on some speed. The morning line favorites are all late runners so any early speed would be a good thing. Jockey, Edgar Zayas has won with 5 of 20 starters from this barn (25%) and has a strong foundation of works under her belt for her debut this afternoon.

Best of luck to everyone playing Fridays races from Gulfstream!!
