God's Tipster's Thursday Gulfstream Park Pick: In 9th, a turf mile, longshot Tiger should have a lot in tank

Race 3: 5th@ 20.60/1
Race 5: 5th@ 2.10/1
Race 9: 6th@ 9.10/1
Well, in Race 3 we had the right idea trying to upend the 4/5 favorite as he went down in flames. Unfortunately our week began with Quickstyle not living up to her name early at least. She was last away in her debut effort and rallied mildly for fifth. In Race 5, Most Wanted Man was rated nicely off the speed but when the real running began he flattened out. He needs shorter. In Race 9, Jumirah got bet down from 15/1 in 9/1 at the last minute and sat just off the pace but didn’t have the punch when she needed it.
Ugly day today. We took some shots but even our favorite didn’t fire. Turning the page.
Let’s take a look at some Thursday’s races from Gulfstream where we expect fast and firm conditions once again. I liked a few races at Aqueduct too and we’re supposed to have some rain in New York on Thursday so I’ll cover two from Aqueduct as well. Let’s get this party started!!
Gulfstream Park:
Race 9: Uno Tiger - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 20/1)
Starter optional claimers race a mile on turf. LOTS of speed signed on here so I’m looking for a closer and Uno Tiger fits the bill at a BIG price. Last time out was only his second career start on turf in 18 lifetime starts. His running line says “bumped early, 2 wide” but that doesn’t tell the whole story. He had rail position around the track and rated well at 10/1 odds but in mid-stretch he had plenty of horse and absolutely nowhere to go. He still earned a 74 speed figure despite that trouble. With a clear run today he could make some noise at long odds as he appears to have the ideal running style for this race from just off the pace.
