God's Tipster's Wednesday Gulfstream Park Pick: The 8th is turf sprint – can't go wrong with Love and Money

Good morning racing fans and welcome to another exciting week of racing from around the U.S. that will find us dipping our toe in the Fair Grounds pool this Saturday as they’ve got a great stakes card for Lecomte Day there. We’ll start the week though with some races from Gulfstream Park where we’re expecting sunny skies with fast and firm conditions all week. Dust off those wallets. Let’s get to work!

Wednesday at Gulfstream Park:

Race 8: Love and Money - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 4/1)

Turf sprinters race 5 furlongs in this allowance optional claiming race for fillies and mares. Based on turf form, Love and Money looks like the one to beat. She’s only raced 6 times in her career and ran a strong second last time out on dirt but if we toss the dirt start and her two tries at a mile we’re left with three turf sprints. Two were blowout wins and in the third she missed winning a stakes race by 2 lengths with some trouble. Trainer Cherie DeVaux has made the most winning with 2 of 9 turf sprinters here at Gulfstream over the last 5 years (22% wins) and this one just worked a bullet. No chance we’ll get the 4/1 morning line so if you can lock in those odds with your bookmakers do it and thank me later!
