God's Tipster's Wednesday Gulfstream Park Pick: The 9th is maiden claimer polytrack sprint – longshot play

Good morning U.S. Racing fans! We’re back for another exciting week of U.S. racing. We’ll start things off with some races from Gulfstream Park where fast and firm conditions are expected. Let’s get to the money!

Wednesday at Gulfstream Park:

Race 9: Cosetta - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 20/1)

Maiden claimers sprint 5 1/2 furlongs on the polytrack here. There are no killers in this bunch so it’s worth taking a shot at a price here. Cosetta ran better than it looks last time out when she was caught wide. She breaks from post ten today so Angel Morales will have to look to navigate a better trip today. If he’s able to, this miss also gets Lasix for the first time so she may have some extra punch. Her speed figures on polytrack are only a few points below the top runners who have already raced. Surprise package!!
