Wednesday’s Race Recap from Gulfstream Park:

(All odds US)

Gulfstream Park:

Race 4: 1st@ 11.90/1 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Race 6: 5th@ 8.40/1

Race 8: 10th@ 13.40/1

In Race 4, Ghostly Night sat the perfect, ground saving trip just off the speed and benefitted from a perfect ride up the rail as he coasted to a 12/1 victory to start the day. In Race 6, Karnak was meant to close into a hot early pace. The problem was that the other speed of the race scratched leaving Wall Street Trader alone to waltz on the lead and take them on a merry chase. In Race 8 we were moved from turf to polytrack once again. Reasonably Lovely was shuffled back early from her rail post and was never close thereafter.

Let’s move to Aqueduct for Thursday’s races. We’re expecting sunny skies and chilly temperatures with a fast main track.

Thursday at Aqueduct:

Race 7: Safalow’s Mission - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 6/1)

Allowance runners bred in New York sprint 7 furlongs in this one. There should be some pace on and that would benefit Safalow’s Mission who races for 22% winning trainer Linda Rice. Safalow’s Mission returned from a June layoff to recently run a fast closing second behind a runaway winner. He should be much better suited today with the additional furlong second off a layoff and 18% rider Jose Lezcano is in the irons.

Best of luck to all our members playing Thursday’s races from Aqueduct!
