God's Tipster's Wednesday Gulfstream Park Pick: The 8th is turf race for 2yos with a Reasonably Lovely choice

We’re back to say goodbye to 2022 this week and ring in the New Year with some racing from Gulfstream. We’re expecting fast and firm conditions in South Florida. Firing with a few longshots to close out the year.

Wednesday at Gulfstream Park:

Race 8: Reasonably Lovely - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 15/1)

Two-year-olds go 7 1/2 furlongs on turf here and I’m siding with a rank outsider breaking from the rail in Reasonably Lovely. This runner owns the field’s top Tomlinson figure for the distance on turf and is a half to a stakes-placed runner over that surface. Kathleen O’Connell is a more than capable trainer for turf runners on the South Florida scene. In her debut she finished 17 lengths behind a blowout winner but was only beaten a head for second and I give her a look here to upset the apple cart to close the day.
