God's Tipster's Friday Gulfstream Park Pick: The 7th is allowance race at a mile with a likely heavy favorite

Thursday’s Race Recap from Gulfstream:

Race 3: 5th@ 10.10/1

Race 6: DNF@ 1.80/1

Race 7: 8th@ 1.80/1

In Race 3, Discreetly Thrifty rallied mildly late for fifth. In Race 6, favored Triple Start was pulled up on the far turn with an apparent injury. Hoping that everything is all right with that one. In Race 7, Dr. Post never fired off the year layoff. Whomever put the voodoo curse on me these last two months. it’s Christmas, please be kind and take it off.

Back for another Friday of racing at Gulfstream with fast and firm conditions expected. We’re firing with a few bombs because why not?

Friday at Gulfstream Park:

Race 7: Mr. Tito’s - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

Allowance runners square off here at a mile and the Todd Pletcher trained Expressman is likely to be all the rage at the windows off his scintillating 107 speed figure on debut. The problem with him is that his speed figure dropped 29 points in his second start as he failed miserably as the huge favorite with no real excuse. That coupled with the fact that he’s got no experience at the distance and surface and will be a short price all tell me that I need to look elsewhere and elsewhere for me is Mr. Tito’s for the Jose Garoffalo barn. Unlike favored Expressman, Mr. Tito’s owns 6 wins over the Gulfstream Park surface and 5 wins at today’s one mile distance. He comes off a career best effort where he defeated a next out winner and I look for him to upset this field at 10/1 or higher.
