Saturday’s Race Recap from Aqueduct:

(All odds US)

Aqueduct:

Race 4: SCRATCH

Race 6: 1st@ 0.55/1 - BEST BET 🔥🔥

Race 7: 3rd@ 1.35/1

Race 8: 6th@ 22.90/1

Race 9: 4th@ 0.60/1

After beginning our day with a scratch in Race 4, Julia Shining got our day off to a winning start as a BEST BET winner. Well back early and coming under a ride, Julia Shining switched to the far outside entering the stretch, continued 8 wide and grinded out an impressive Grade 2 victory in just her second career start. In Race 7, the Remsen - Tuskegee Airmen stalked the early pace but when push came to shove he was no match for the top two finishers and he checked in third. In Race 8, Exotic West raced evenly never mounting a serious rally and in the Cigar Mile it was Mind Control closing out an amazing career with another Grade 1 win. Zandon checked in fourth.

We’ll stay parked at Aqueduct for Sunday’s races. With all the rain taken on Saturday I’m handicapping for some moisture in the surface.

I’m EXCITED for today’s races so I’m FIRING 🔥 AWAY!!!

Sunday at Aqueduct:

Race 8: Ocala Dream - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

The New York Stallion Series at 7 furlongs brings together an odd assortment of turf specialists and dirt runners. We even have one shipping in from Louisiana which is a pretty rare thing for a race like this. My Boy Tate is 9/5 on the morning line and will probably be lower by post time. Last time out he crushed and a similar effort would be tough to beat. The issue with him is that Manny Franco is riding him today with top rider Irad Ortiz off. Manny Franco has ridden this 8-year-old gelding in 20 career starts and only won 4 of those races and he’s been under 3/1 odds in 14 of those races. Ocala Dream has been a consistent performer on turf while facing some pretty salty company. He’s unproven on dirt but has some siblings that were winners over the surface. He gets blinkers added today and cuts back from routing. His barn is chilly so his price will be higher than the 10/1 morning line. I find it interesting that Javier Castellano lands here considering he won with Neuro last time out and that one has similar form. Looking to close the week with an upset.

Best of luck to all our members playing Sunday’s races from Aqueduct!
