God's Tipster's Thursday Aqueduct Pick: The 8th is an allowance sprint with a big longshot in Bronx Bomber

Pledgeofallegiance got our week kicked off with a resounding *thud*. After getting the rapid pace we had predicted he was unable to out-kick the front runners finishing a wide and closing fourth. After a scratch in Race 8 we had Klimtomaniac in Race 10, who failed to mount a serious rally after not getting much pace to rally into. 

Let’s move on to some racing from chilly Aqueduct where we’ve had some rain in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday but I’ll be handicapping for fast conditions Thursday. Let’s get to work!

Aqueduct:

Race 8: Bronx Bomber - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 20/1)

Allowance runners sprint 6 furlongs here. We were fishing for a bomb today and Bronx Bomber fits the bill. Quick Return, Foolish Ghost, Unique Unions and Sheriff Bianco are all VERY fast and will ensure an honest if not rapid pace. Bronx Bomber’s last two starts have been a little below average for this group but you only need to go back to June to find a race in his past performances that would win this. Since then he’s switched barns twice but his new owners are bumping him up in class despite the double digit loss last time out. Low profile connections will ensure a huge price here. There’s nobody else in the field with more wins over the Aqueduct main track (All five of Bronx Bomber’s wins have happened here) and three wins at the distance say he’s a live longshot in this spot.
