God's Tipster's Wednesday Churchill Downs Pick: The 10th, is a dirt route MSW with a live Ken McPeek longshot

Good morning racing fans and welcome to another FABULOUS week of U.S. racing. After a stellar month of October for our members we’re looking to get home a few winners in this, the second half of November to continue our forward momentum. There is no Wednesday racing at Aqueduct this time of year so we’re heading to Churchill Downs for a few Wednesday races. We’re expecting frigid temperatures on Wednesday after some rain on Tuesday, but I’m handicapping for a fast main track because I know the Churchill Downs course drains quite quickly. Let’s get to it!

Wednesday at Churchill Downs:

Race 10: Klimtomaniac - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 12/1)

A wild maiden special weight race at a mile and a sixteenth on dirt and I say “wild” because there’s a lot going on. Trainer changes, polytrack runners starting on dirt for the first time, speeds, stalkers, closers and when it comes down to it this race appears evenly matched enough not to have to go with a favorite. It may be worth checking out what else is out there. I landed on Klimtomaniac, whom I feel is a longshot who may benefit from today’s expected fast pace. When I cracked this race open and began handicapping it, trainer Ken McPeek was exactly who I was looking for. He’s dangerous in spots like these. As a matter of fact, with two-year-old dirt runners racing here at Churchill Downs in route races making their third career start when using today’s rider, Brian Hernandez (I know I know, that’s really specific) he wins at a ridiculously good 32%, winning with 7 of 22 runners. 5 furlong drill okay 11/10 has him legged up for today’s 10th race.
