God's Tipster's Thursday Belmont at Aqueduct Pick: The 3rd is an allowance sprint, with a horse you gotta love

Race 1: 4th@ 10.00/1

Race 4: 5th@ 4.30/1

Our week began with the speed duel and fast pace materializing as we had hoped but Diamante de Oro gave too little too late closing for fourth at 10/1 odds. In Race 4, Golden Heart’s odds dropped from 7/1 to 4/1 at the track as they loaded into the gate. She had the run of the race but was only able to muster a mild rally finishing fifth. Today’s sloppy track favored speed in both races we had closers tabbed. On to tomorrow!

Let’s move our tack back to Belmont at Aqueduct where we’ve had rain for a few days leading up to the Thursday card. Because of this I’m steering clear of the turf races and will be focusing strictly on main track races. Let’s get to the action !

Thursday at Belmont at Aqueduct:

Race 3: Cupid’s Girl - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 5/1)

Starter Allowance runners sprint 6 furlongs. Cupid’s Girl is the selection here as she’s shown improvement in each start since her maiden breaking effort in June at Belmont Park. Last time out she lost by 7 lengths so that may scare away some supporters but she still showed speed figure improvement. The favorites in here all have similar running styles and once again if there’s a speed duel among the favorites this race could fall into her lap. Shoot an arrow at Cupid’s Girl in Race 3 and let’s hope our shot is true.
