Race 10: SCRATCH

In Race 6, My Imagination broke alertly but took some time to hit his best stride on debut as he rallied mildly late finishing seventh at 50/1 odds.

Our selection for Race 10 was an early scratch.

Let’s head to Belmont at Aqueduct for Thursday’s races. We do have some rain in the forecast for Thursday so I’ll be focusing on main track races. We are on the hunt for long-shots and with a wet track and plenty of debut runners we should have a few opportunities today.

Thursday at Belmont at Aqueduct:

Race 6: Brew Pub - 1 PT WIN (US Morning Line Odds: 20/1)

We are FIRING with another 20/1 bomb in Race 6. Trainer Marcelo Arenas, who only has a few horses, has done a nice job with Brew Pub earning more than $120k since he claimed him for $25k last year. We’ve got a ton of early speed signed on here and Brew Pub prefers to close from behind. We’ve also got some rain headed our way and wouldn’t you know it but Brew Pub’s best races have come over the sloppy Aqueduct main track that he’ll reunite with on Thursday. This is another race that was originally carded to be run over the turf but I expect it to be run over a sloppy, main track and after this win you might’ve earned yourself a trip to a Brew Pub.
