Race 1: 2nd@ 2.50/1

We only had one selection for Wednesday, and it was debuting Mo Bills in Race 1 where we thought the favorite, Essouria might be fraudulent but she was the real deal at 3/5. Mo Bills ran a fine race, leading til 1/4 pole before getting overhauled. The favorite won the battle today but betting against her was the right move and a more profitable one long term. We’ll get ’em tomorrow.

IMPORTANT MEMBER INFORMATION

*****************************************

We’re moving to Aqueduct for Thursday’s races. I do need to mention that they’re running this year’s Belmont Fall Championship Meet at Aqueduct while Belmont undergoes some construction. For this reason, they’ve titled this race meet: “Belmont at Aqueduct”. Your bookmaker might have these races listed under one of the following the track names: Aqueduct, Belmont or “BAQ” as it is listed here in the States - “Belmont at Aqueduct”. Please forward me any feedback you have as in the event too many members aren’t able to access these races we’ll have to come up with another plan. Thanks for your attention. Let’s get back to the WINNING.

We’re expecting fast and firm conditions beneath sunny skies with warm temperatures for opening day at Aqueduct!

Thursday at Belmont at Aqueduct:

Race 9: Shadolamo - 1 pt Win (US Morning Line Odds: 12/1)

Allowance runners race a mile on this race that’s restricted to New York breds. Truancy will be all the rage at the betting windows off her maiden-breaking effort where she sprinted clear of 6 overmatched runners to win a 7 furlong race. She might be best here, but taking short odds on a runner who has never gone the distance or raced over the surface is a poor investment in the long run and there’s other pace in this race to push her a little early. I prefer to try Shadolamo who lost by a fast-closing head last time out at 6 furlongs. She stretches out today too, but she’s also got seven career starts at this distance with two wins along with a win over the surface. Shadolamo has shown the ability to win from on or off the early pace and fired a bullet workout on Sept. 8 in preparation for this. 12/1 odds offer fair value.

Best of luck to everyone playing Thursday’s races from Belmont at Aqueduct!
