God's Tipster's Updated Wednesday Saratoga Pick: The 3rd is a sprint with a tough runner who's main track only

Good morning Betting Gods Team. We’re set for a Wednesday of Saratoga racing action as we look to build on our month’s current profit of £309.50. There’s a 50/50 chance of rain all day on Tuesday so it’s hard to say how that’s going to impact the turf races but I’ve handicapped that with rain in mind. Let’s get to work.

Wednesday at Saratoga:

Race 3: Tommy Gun - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 9/5)

This race is carded at 5 1/2 furlongs on turf and Tommy Gun is listed as a “main track only” so he’ll only run in the event they rain this race off the turf. If he gets in he’ll be tough. Tommy has improved his speed figures in each of his last three starts culminating in a 75 speed figure which is four points higher than his next closest competitor but at least 16 points higher than everyone else in the field on dirt. If they rain this one off, Tommy Gun should get the jump on his completion and have enough left in the tank to hold off any closers. Three runners from his last race have returned bro win and four of six have returned to improve their speed figures.
