Only 6-La Tache (2/1) has a :12er workout and that was a :48 from the gate on June 30. The rest of them did not clock a single twelve second four furlong or greater work. Trainer Michael Stidham a solid 16% winner with 2yo first time starting fillies and given the low number of foals for the sire, she seems to be the one to beat. Considering this is anybody’s race, due to the poor performance in the mornings by these fillies, I am going to take a shot with the 10% sire and 5-Naval Empire (3/1) who has two five furlong works (only 4-Livana has worked that distance and it was 1:05 from the gate) and clipped a 1:02. Michael Trombetta a qualifying 11% with first time two year old fillies.
