Sunday’s Race Recap from Belmont Park:
(All odds US)
Replays for yesterday’s races from Belmont can be found here:
Race 2: SCRATCH
Race 6: 4th@ 1.55/1
Race 9: 1st@ 7.10/1 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
After a scratch in Race 2, our BEST BET - Luni Sima was a dud in Race 6 after hitting the gate at the start he could do no better than fourth. We made up for it in Race 9 as Street Tsar battled gamely with the favorite down to the line to win his debut effort and give our members their sixth winner from fourteen selections to begin July and our fourth runner + 7/1 for the week. Summer is indeed heating up!
We have BONUS coverage for the July 4th holiday!
Once again we’re expecting fast and firm conditions at Belmont Park. Let’s get right to it!
July 4th at Belmont Park:
Race 10: Altare - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 12/1)
We close out the card the way we open it. Turf sprinters! Only this time it’s for maiden claimers. Altare had a terrible debut back in April losing by nearly 40 lengths but this barn has been known to give runners a start before. One such example of this barn using this approach was used with this one’s dam, Arietta, who lost twice in turf routes before blasting away to win in a turf sprint when dropped in to a maiden claiming race at nearly 23/1 odds. Sire, Stormy Atlantic wins with 15% of turf sprinters. Value at 12/1 or higher.
Best of luck to everyone playing Monday’s races from Belmont Park!
