Our weekend began with race 1 where Fly High broke slowly and stalked before flattening out in the lane. We rebounded with two easy ones as Lucky Brody and Life Is Good both coasted at short odds. In Race 5, Summer in Sosua was on the pace but could do no better than third behind a sharp $2 million debut runner for the Todd Pletcher barn. We closed out the Belmont card with our BEST BET - Charge It who won the Dwyer by 23 lengths 🔥🔥🔥.

Race 2: 2nd@ 2.00/1

In Race 2, Necker Island had a nightmarish trip early and was moving best late to just miss in an unlucky race for him. Romance Novel pressed the pace but weakened between horses to fourth. In Race 9, Kneedeepinsnow ran his eyeballs out on the lead but couldn’t hold off the Breeder’s Cup Sprint winner, Aloha West. We rebounded in Race 10 as Olympiad stalked and pounced in the stretch. Americanrevolution had every chance to run him down but Olympiad was too good.

Four winners from nine selections on the day including our BEST BET along with a tough-trip second place, two thirds and two fourths. Not a bad day.

We’ll head back to Belmont for Sunday’s race card. We’re expecting hot temperatures with fast and firm conditions once again. Let’s get to the action!

Sunday at Belmont Park:

Race 9: Street Tsar - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 9/2)

New York bred maidens sprint six furlongs and this race is Ocean’s Reserve’s to win or lose. Last time out he put up a speed figure of 80 which would win most races in this division. He hails from an 0 for 15 barn though that I don’t trust entirely so I’m looking elsewhere for the winner. Street Tsar hails from the Todd Pletcher barn which won four races on Saturday’s card at Belmont Park. This one’s been working well at Monmouth towards his debut and I love seeing five furlong splits with debut runners. Flavien Prat is named to ride and he hasn’t done 100% well for Pletcher just yet but I have a feeling this one’s going to sneak under the radar of most handicappers and we may actually get the morning line odds.
