Race 9: 4th@ 8.00/1

Race 10: 5th@ 0.65/1

Race 11: SCRATCH

In Race 1, Commandperformance could not have been any less impressive, finishing off the board after sitting a trip off the pace and never firing. We scratched in Race 7. In Race 9, Jackie’s Warrior was dominant and unchallenged. Baby Yoda and the rest were simply left in his wake. In the New York Handicap, Rougir was upended by her stablemate, Bleecker Street, who ran her undefeated record up another notch. We closed the day with a scratch in Race 11.

In our final installment of our trip down Belmont Stakes memory lane I will take you back to 2015. After years of heartbreak,, American Pharoah would get the chance to become America’s first Triple Crown winner since 1978. 37 years had gone by and we were ready. A winner of all but his debut start, American Pharoah won the Kentucky Derby with a somewhat wide trip and turned the Preakness into a runaway. Was American Pharoah deserving of such a distinction? Watch and see:

While we won’t have anyone running for the elusive Triple Crown in 2022, we’ve got an excellent day of racing featuring a bevy of Grade 1 events including an appearance by the freak of nature - Flightline - who has absolutely PUMMELED his competition in his three career appearances to the point where people are already comparing him with the very best who ever looked through a bridle. *** Disclaimer: I’m giving out 10 selections – a few short-priced favorites that look like they offer value at their morning line odds.
