We are back for another week of US racing action. We’ll start our week off with opening day from Delaware Park. We’re expecting fast and firm conditions beneath cloudy skies. Let’s get to work!
Wednesday at Delaware Park:
Race 7: Chief Cheetah - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 15/1)
Claimers go a mile and a sixteenth on turf in this one and there’s not a ton of pace signed on. Chief Cheetah is one of two last out winners in this field - demonstrating a recency edge that many others in this field don’t have. Trainer Jose Ramirez might get overlooked because of his 9% year to date overall number but here on the turf at Delaware he’s won with 4 of 14 runners for a robust 29% win percentage. This one’s dam only raced on turf once but the race produced her top lifetime speed figure so the surface change shouldn’t be a hurdle. Bombs away to end the day!
Best of luck to everyone playing Wednesday’s races from Delaware Park!
