Good morning racing fans. Another busy week of racing ahead with more Kentucky Derby preps. This Saturday we’ll have the Wood Memorial - Aqueduct’s premier stakes race, the Blue Grass from Keeneland and the Santa Anita Derby. In the meantime, we’re starting the week at Tampa Bay Downs. We’re expecting fast and firm conditions beneath sunny skies. Let’s get to work!

Wednesday at Tampa Bay Downs:

Race 7: Gimmebackmybullets - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 6/1)

Maiden claimers sprint 6 furlongs here and of those who have run before there look like two main contenders. Gimmebackmybullets is one who hasn’t run yet but with City Zip on the dam side, he should have at least some precociousness in the bloodlines. The main reason for this pick is trainer Juan Arriagada. In the past month at Tampa he’s won with an astounding 9 of 13 starters for an almost impossible win percentage of 69%. Nice. At 6/1 odds he’s worth a bet.
