God's Tipster's Thursday 3.31 Aqueduct Pick – In the 8th, one horse is faster than the rest – but can he win?

Our week began with Race 3, where our first longshot selection, The Equinest, ran his eyeballs out, wide around the track at 15/1 odds and came up just short finally fading to third late missing second by a nose. In Race 4 Two Spot was slow into stride on debut and never mustered a rally. In Race 8, JD’s Vista was taken far off the pace and rallied for third. Probably needed another furlong to seriously contend for win honors here.
Two decently priced third place finishes from three selections but we want WINNERS.
Let’s move north to Aqueduct to close out the month of March. We’ve got rain in the forecast but with no turf racing yet and no polytrack, we’re not in jeopardy of any crazy changes aside from potential scratches. Let’s get to the action !
Thursday at Aqueduct:
Race 8: Boom Boom Kaboom - 2 pts win - BEST BET (US Morning Line Odds: 2/1)
We began our day with New York bred maidens and we’ll end our day with New York bred maidens, although this time it’s the maiden claiming variety. Boom Boom Kaboom has certainly had his chances as he’s 0 for 23 with 4 seconds and 6 third place finishes but today it looks like he may have finally found a field he can beat. His best dirt races have come over a less than fast surface which he’ll likely get today and not only does he own this field’s top all time speed figure, he owns this field’s top 16 speed figures. That’s right, he has 16 races in his past performances that are better than anything else anyone in this field has put up. Not sure I’ve ever seen that before and despite his winless record, 2/1 has to be some value here.
