Good morning everyone! We had a strong Friday and Sunday last week and we’re looking to continue the momentum into Wednesday’s races from Gulfstream Park. We’re expecting fast and firm conditions beneath sunny skies. Let’s get to it.
Wednesday pick for Gulfstream Park:
Race 7: Battle Cry - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 4/1)
Allowance optional claiming race for milers and Battle Cry appears she’ll get a favorable pace setup with speed provided by Beth’s Dream on the stretch out with Freak and Papa’s Little Girl. Last time out, Battle Cry ran a career best speed figure that would blow these away. She’s been given ample time off since then and shows up with two workouts under her belt. Trainer David Carlos doesn’t attach a claiming price to this one and she’s already a proven winner on the surface and at the distance.
