God's Tipster's Sunday 1.16 Aqueduct Pick is a mile claiming race in the 2nd – Temps expected in the 20s

In Race 2 we had Lara’s Lady who gunned to the lead and put away the other speed contenders but was caught in the final 1/8th of a mile. In Race 10, we got UNBELIEVABLE value on Gatsby as he gunned to the lead then took back while Cool Quest set torrid fractions and proceeded to pick up the pieces in the lane for the win.

Race 8: 5th@ 9.40/1

In the Fifth Season we knew Concert Tour would be a fraudulent favorite. The problem was that the rest of the field was evenly matched. Silver Prospector got caught wide on both turns and ran well to be 5th behind 25/1 upset winner, Rated R Superstar.

Race 9: SCRATCH

In Race 5, Provocateur looked like he was home free on the far turn after putting away favorite Cattin but somehow Markhamian battled back on the rail to snatch the victory. In Race 6 we had our third straight second place finish of the day as Goddess of Fire was rolling wide too late and lost by a diminishing neck at 10/1 odds. In Race 8, Kuramata finished a flattening out 4th in his first start since May.

A first, three seconds, a fourth and a fifth place finish from six selections on Saturday.

Let’s shift gears and move our tack back to frigid Aqueduct where we’re hoping the chilly temperatures warm up enough to be able to race on Sunday. They cancelled racing on Saturday due to freezing conditions and wind. Let’s get started.

Sunday pick for Aqueduct:

Race 2: Cinderella’s Cause - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 7/2)

Claimers race a mile in this one and while Summary Judgement will likely take the majority of the attention from the betting public, Cinderella’s Cause will be racing a distance of ground for the first time on the main track. With AP Indy as his grand sire and Giant’s Causeway as his dam sire, this runner should relish more distance and his speed figures and closing pace figures back that up. Low profile connections will ensure fair odds here.
