Eight line up in this sprint and starting with 1-Intrepid Daydream (4/1), am wondering about this move that 28% trainer Gary Cupuano has for this Jess’s Dream filly cutting her back from an impressive 17 length win at 8.5 furlongs back to 6. It may not matter why as she has the talent and pedigree to win. 7-Sparkle Sprinkle (6/1) I like the horse, yet with regular rider Horacio Karamanos not in the irons, I will take a gut instinct pass. 8-Buff My Boots (5/1) flew home to a .5 length win the Maryland Million Lassie stakes which was restricted to horses not getting Lasix within 48 hours of race day. It did not matter in her case because she has yet to take it. 2/1-0/1 for $59K at Laurel tops this group by a longshot. 6-Click To Confirm (20/1) if she gets a speed duel today, look for her to fly stretch ward and be flying. Use underneath.

I am going with 8-Buff My Boots – trainer John Salzman 30% with last out winners and she showed how tough a competitor she is in her last by letting go of the lead in the stretch and then gamely fighting back

Laurel Race 7 – The $100,000 James F Lewis Stakes

Arnaldo Bocachica, Charles Town’s leading rider, makes the trip in to ride 2-Run To Daylight (5/2) and there will be quite a bit of betting interest in this Runhappy colt. After all, scoring three out of three is worth noticing and I am going to pass. No Lasix for the first time and Runhappy 2yo progeny colts has yet to win. 7-Local Motive (7/2) fought gamely from the onset last out before tiring to third. He was much impressive viewing it than the running lines prove. On top I am putting 6-Beast Or Famine (12/1) shipping from Parx and winning his last two. His 1:00 work a week ago is impressive and will fly off the pace. I will also use Local Motive and 8-No Sabe Nada (4/1) underneath
