Thursday 10/26 Keeneland Picks: God's Tipster handicaps the 3rd, 5th, 8th – likes two first-time starters
Wednesday’s Race Recap from Keeneland:
(All odds US)
Race replays for yesterday’s races from Keeneland can be found here:
Race 1: 2nd@ 1.10/1
Race 4: 6th@ 7.10/1
Race 7: 1st@ 1.10/1 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Diva Banker began our week in Race 1 by stalking the early pace and then getting taken wide turning for home. She drew off by two lengths and appeared home but was run down by Shi O Shi in the stretch finishing second. In Race 4, Kitten’s Man took a ton of early money and was 4/1 early off a 15/1 morning line. He ended up going off at 7/1, stalked the pace and flattened out in the drive. In Race 7, More Than Unusual stalked the pace and powered home to get us our first victory of the race week which began today. Am hoping a few members got closer to the 5/2 odds on the morning line. A win and a second place finish from three picks on the day.
We’ll head back to Keeneland for Thursday’s races. We are expecting heavy rain in the Lexington area so I’ll be handicapping these races for sloppy conditions and off turf.
Thursday picks for Keeneland:
Race 3: Lady Brielle - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)
Trainer Al Stall debuts this daughter of Tapit and while this race is currently carded for turf, we’re expecting it to rain all day. Either way, Lady Brielle appears bred to handle either surface. Stall can win at Keeneland and trains a brother to this runner who has run well on both surfaces. The workout tab looks faster than the typical Al Stall runner and 10/1 odds look like fair value here.

Race 5: Marr Time - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 5/2)
Two-year-old maiden fillies sprint 6 furlongs and based on breeding, we might have a potential champion in our midst. First time starter Marr Time debuts for the red hot barn of Brad Cox (24%) and is a half sister to champions: Mendelssohn (won $2.5 million including the BC Juvenile Turf and UAE Derby), Into Mischief (won the Grade 1 CashCall Futurity and has sired multiple champions) and of course the great - Beholder (champion mare who went 18 for 26 with 6 second place finishes and $6.5 million in earnings). Her workout tab looks stellar and this race doesn’t appear to have any world beaters signed on. If she’s a shadow of any of her siblings she’ll be certain value at 5/2)
Race 8: Own Agenda - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 8/1)
Another race that’s been carded for the turf but will likely be run on the main track. Either way, Own Agenda can handle both surfaces and runs here off a June layoff for trainer Cherie DeVaux who’s winning at 20% here at Keeneland. This runner returned off a year-and-a-half hiatus to finish a close second against a tough turf field at Churchill Downs in June. That race has produced three next-out winners already, including the first and third place finishers. Workout pattern seems to indicate he’s ready! 8/1 on turf or dirt is value.
Best of luck to everyone playing Thursday’s races from Keeneland!
