Wednesday Horse Racing: God's Tipster picks 4 races at Delaware Park

Weather should be ideal for racing.

Gooooooooooood morning and welcome to another EXCITING week of US racing. We’ll kick things off with a Wednesday race card from Delaware Park beneath sunny skies with fast and firm conditions.

Delaware Park:

Race 1: Seven Plus Seven - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 8-1)

Let’s run a mile on dirt to start the week. Instead, let’s watch some horses do it and gamble on them. Even better. Tricky race here as 8 runners compete. Seven Plus Seven has been sprinting lately but his two route races on his past performances have produced two of his top speed figures so I’m not concerned about the distance. Trainer Mario Serey wins with 19% of his stretch-outs. At 8-1 he’s certainly worth a wager.

Race 4: King Nekia - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 12-1)

Maiden claimers sprint 6 furlongs here our selection has had his chances in the maiden ranks and actually hasn’t performed badly with 5 in the money finishes from 9 starts on dirt. Overall he’s finished 2nd in 5 of 15 starts. The odds will be generous due to his low profile connections but this runner has a better speed figure than the rest of the field at this distance by at least a full 7 points and has the best speed figure at this track by 12 points. Should show some speed here.

Race 9: Sonetta - 2 pts win - BEST BET (US Morning Line Odds: 7/2)

We close out our day with today’s feature race - three year old fillies racing a mile and 70 yards. Sonetta should get a fast track again on Wednesday just like she did when she won first time out in a key race where the second and third place finishers both came back to win their next start. The speed figure Sonetta put up in that start is the best in the field by at least 4 points. She caught a sloppy track in her second start and had an odd trip where she was looking for room in the stretch and never looked comfortable. Trainer Jeremiah O’Dwyer wins with a whopping 26% of his sprint-to-routers and this one is definitely bred for distance being by Tapit with Indian Charlie underneath. Wire to wire threat.

Best of luck 🍀🍀🍀 to all our members playing Wednesday’s races from Delaware Park.
