One final thought on yesterday’s Derby – remember the name Oussama Aboughazale. A native from Jerusalem who raced horses in Santiago, Chile, he owns and operates Paris, KY. based Sumaya U.S. Stable - the home to Protonico who is the sire of Medina Spirit. Aboughazale likely will be the biggest winner of the Kentucky Derby yesterday.

There really is not a whole lot I need to say about this race because #2 Nemo’s Fortune (3/1) is a good horse to single. In his debut on April 9, he was checked at the start, altered his course, yet still got up to lose by just a neck. As invaluable as that experience was, that race scored him an 82 Equibase figure. Looking at the workouts and the pedigrees of the remainder of horses in this race, coupled with the fact that he will improve from that last score, it's unlikely that he will be bested.
Lastly. Although these are not a maiden races, check out Cherubic Factor in the 3rd at Santa Anita and Reinagol, in the 7th at. Gulfstream.
