Friday Horse Racing: God's Tipster picks the 4th at Gulfstream Park and the 7th at Keeneland

Our day kicked off with a weak effort from Venerable - our odds on favorite in Race 3 who was coming off a layoff. We rebounded when Dropped Anchor, our day’s BEST BET, was never headed, en route to a handy 8 length score. We wrapped things up with Inter Miami who pressed the pace but faded in the drive at just over 6-1. A profitable day for us as our BEST BET came through. Let’s look ahead to Friday.
Once again we head to sunny and warm south Florida where we’ve made selections for Gulfstream Park. We expect sunny skies and fast and firm conditions. We’ve gone to Keeneland for our BEST BET of the day. We expect fast and firm conditions there as well, albeit a bit chillier than florida. Let’s kick this weekend party off with a few winners:

Race 4: Running Memories - (ML: 9/2 odds US) - 1 pt win
I’ll start by saying that although the likely favorite in here - Exact, looks formidable, she doesn’t look unbeatable and with lower profile connections and MUCH better odds we’re siding with Running Memories here. Trainer Joe Orseno’s win percentage has jumped nicely to 17% recently and while most others in here are jumping from claiming ranks, this runner is taking a class drop from stakes company where she finished a hard charging 4th after blowing the start and checking at the 1/4 pole. If Running Memories can out-break Exact, she could prove difficult to run down and if she ends up stalking the pace I think she’ll still be ok as she’s got the best final closing kick of anyone in the field. Jockey Victor Lebron has an 18% win percentage for this barn.

Keeneland:
Race 7: Therideofalifetime - (ML: 3/1 US) - 2 pts win - BEST BET
Three-year-old sprinters line up here and this race drew a nice field of runners. I like Therideofalifetime for a few reasons. First, trainer Ignacio Correas has raced 5 runners at the meet so far and 4 of those 5 have finished either first, second or third. This runner is coming off a September layoff where he was last seen running on Kentucky Derby day in the Iroquois Stakes. These connections are a conservative bunch and would only run this one if he’s ready. Had finished second to Grade 1 winner - Jackie’s Warrior. April 10, his workout was second fastest of 114 runners. On March 22 he worked 6 furlongs in a sparkling 111:4. All systems seem to indicate this one is LIVE!
