Friday’s Recap from Gulfstream Park:

Race 1: 6th@ SP

Race 3: 3rd@ SP

Race 10: 3rd@ SP

Tough sledding at Gulfstream these days. In Race 1, Kolohe Prince didn’t run a step. That was particularly frustrating because I was so impressed with his replay and his workout report said he impressed in the morning as well. Flamingo Hawk on the other hand looked awful in his last start and won by 11. Seriously. In Race 3, Katie’sDreamGirl ran a respectable third from off the pace and in the finale, Tropicat got the trip but ended up losing by a head and a neck finishing third. We’ll be taking a little break from Gulfstream Park this weekend as we focus our attention on stakes races from across the country.
