RT's Maiden America Sunday is a $50K MSW at Gulfstream Park, plus more breeze figures

First picked race, the 6th race at Gulfstream Park, has a post time of 3:10 pm ET

A big pat on the back to Emisael Jaramillo for his ride on our choice Jeebar yesterday. Jeebar and Emisael gave a gutty performance fighting the slop, wind, and closer bias to just get caught at the wire by Democracy. Emisael did an inspiring job keeping Jeebar focused and encouraged during the stretch run. It was a fantastic showing of competitive spirit by both horse and jockey. Win/place bettors like myself profited and we look forward to seeing you two in your next sojourn. Thank you.

BreezeFigs are calculated separately for colts and fillies, and for each breeze distance (one eighth, a quarter mile, three-eighths, sometimes half a mile) and surface (dirt, synthetic, turf) for each sex.

There are four Groups:

G1: Horses qualifying on all Speed, Stride Length and other proprietary numbers;

G2: Horses qualifying on all but one of the above factors;

G3: Horses that qualify on one of the above factors;

G4: Horses that are non-qualifiers on any of the above factors

This is an interesting race sending eleven fillies to the post and only one of them has a race under her belt. That would be #8 Trust Today (12/1). That race was on July 19th of last year and her last two works have been good. She will be included in my exotic wagers. #11 Mischiefful (12/1) has gotten recent clocker comments about her blasting out of the blocks, so look for her to be the early speed. #10 Miszlo (20/1) has gotten some kudos for her works and seemingly, based on what was written, she is a game filly. Pletcher, as usual, has the favorite #4 Iced Latte (5/2). Her results at the training center have been parochial and even though 6 pack Irad is on her, she may need this race or two before backing. #7 H T Xena (15/1) has gotten terrific reviews for her workouts and she’ll be a playa and she will get my money bet on her. Her two foals won both of their first races and her dam, Involved, won her first two – a $50K mcl at Keeneland and a starter stakes at Churchill.
