Presque Isle Race 1 - $20K Claimers 3yo+ going 6f

#5 Hot Apriority (15/1) and #8 Samurai Legacy (8/1) will grab the early lead. #3 The Connector (already bet down to 3/5) is a closing type who is ridden by leading jockey Pablo Morales just smoked a group of $12.5K claimers eight days ago by laying up and closing into the pace. It will not happen again today. Samurai Legacy just wired a group at this level two back, was moved up to allowance company in his last, set the pace and tired. The trainer of Pablo’s horse has a 9%-win rate after last race won and I think he’ll run third with #9 Arba (8/1) coming second.

Presque Isle Race 2 - $5K Claiming 3yo+ N2Y going 1 mile, 70 yards

#1 Executive Bonus (5/2) with Pablo Morales up is going to take the money in this and I believe he doesn’t have the goods for this reason – Fair Grounds shippers have been a sour play when they venture out of Louisiana. He also hasn’t raced since March and the trainer is 0% in this situation. I like #6 Bay Bridge (12/1) to return to the winner circle today.

Presque Isle Race 6 - $12.5K fillies and mares 3yo+ N2L going 6f

#7 Bluebird Day (3/1) is going to be a false favorite in this race. After all, if the breeding rights to this filly were $115K and it is out of Bodemeister and Quality Road, why would you move it down to a $12.5K claimer – especially after you almost won a $20K claiming race? This is the time to bet Pablo, on #5 Lizz A Bee (4/1) and run like a thief. She is a 4yo filly that is carrying the same weight as the 3yo, has faced stiffer competition and has been working forwardly. 1a Twila Mae (9/2) is going to make some noise in this after just breaking her maiden.
