Yesterday, Brilliant Chase ran a solid 1:10 for 6F winning our choice and paying $11.40 and $4.00. In the 11^th, Ashraq couldn’t handle the torrid pace and as Janis sang, “faded as my jeans.”

Today we are heading to Saratoga where the rail is dead and so is post position #8.

Race 6 is a $64K Allowance for girls that are 3yo+, NY bred, and NWx2

#7 Eloquent Speaker (4/5) is the deserving favorite in this race getting the best last, best overall speed and best overall class. She stumbled at the start in her last and ran up to take a two length lead and continued leading into the stretch until tiring in the final paces. She stays at the same class/company today and will look to take command early, set/control the pace and stay with it late. Can any of these ladies take her?

#2 Saratoga Beauty (8/1) is coming off a long layoff and has been working forwardly shooting a couple of bullets including her last 3F at :35.4. She broke her maiden against open company and was subsequently placed in the $250K Maiden Of The Mist stakes. Evidently something transpired shelving this daughter of Mucho Uno and now she makes her return. I look for her to press the pace and put pressure on the 7 before tailing off.

# 6 Kinky Sox (5/1) is coming off a win versus much weaker and steps up to a spot where she has never raced. Given her late kick, she has a chance at a slice.

#5 Bustin Scones (6/1) has second best overall speed and class as well as second best last. She is 7:1-2-0 at this distance and has had a dearth of chances against similar, yet has come up, at best, second. Exotics? Yes. Winner? No.

#1 Shesasuperfreak (6/1) has second best last race and has woken up after the four month layoff If Santana can get her off the rail and not allow the 7 to run away, he may have a shot in the stretch.

#4 Fight On Lucy (15/1) this filly may fool all of us today and score. She gets a manageable distance this race after going long her last three. She is certainly a front end runner and look for Reylu to gun it with her straight away.

My pick – never one to bet a heavy favorite, I am going to take a mild poke with Kinky Sox.
