There is a key race today that is worth paying attention to. It goes off at 3:40 est at Thistledown, race 5.
You’ll notice the key race was at Gulfstream on Sept. 22 and every horse that has come out of it thus far has won. In some cases, these types of races can be a freak of nature and point out winners that get a good price. The horse racing today is The Express Q and on paper, he doesn’t have a chance. Of his three races to date, he has lost by a total of 62 lengths. On the asset side of the ledger, he was gelded in early August and has been moved to a new barn and this will be his first race for them.
I may put a light bet on it, however, if he runs a solid race, the horse Forecful One, another entrant from that key race, goes off at Mountaineer tonight in the first and I will bet that one if The Express Q does well. If The Express Q wins at Thistledown, I’m going pot on Forceful One tonight.

#3 Kingofthebuckeye (5/2) raced twice - broke his maiden in the first and bumped up to this level next and led before tiring in stretch and losing by only ¾ length. Jockey trainer combo here 34%. Will set the pace and looms the danger.
