5 – Trevor’s Call (3/1) taking a lightly raced six-year-old carrying only plus three pounds disparity in weight differential than the favored three-year olds. Bill Mott trained gelding was nosed at the wire last out in a similar class race. This front runner will be hard to catch today.
2 – What A Show Off (5/2) Keeneland shipper chased the leader in last $79K MSW race and gets class relief today. If raining, Canterbury plays to the speed horses and this $160K yearling may pull away at the stretch.

6 Vicacitas (2/1) shipped in from Oaklawn, this filly out of Bernadini was last seen in a $90K MSW race in mid-April and today drops to this level. Trainer Don Schnell and jockey Dean Butler owning Canterbury of late fetching 43% winners.
2 – Novo Azul (5/2) trainer McLean Robertson winning with first timers at 25% and her sire, Artie Shiller won his first race in 1:10.2. Given her advancing workouts and first time Lasix, this lady is worth watching the tote board over.

4 – Hold The Spice (3/1) Bernell Rhone trained gelding getting second time Lasix today. Drops in for a tag after being on the bench. Steady diet of workouts should’ve shaken off the cobwebs.

2 – Heavenhasmynikki (8/1) they’re going to have to catch her and it won’t be today. If this filly can click off six furlongs in 1:10 at the sloppy Mahoning Valley quicksand, she’ll be hard to catch this afternoon. Nikki is in peak shape clocking a bullet work on May 4th going 3f in :35.4. Get Kendall Carmouche in the irons and he’s been on fire of late nailing 20% winners the past ten days.
