1 – Nite Brite (20/1) chased Biddy Dude before lugging out badly and being slowed to bring up the rear. 2nd Lasix as well and her recent, and only, race was a good teacher.

4 – Ms. Headley (8/5) Wesley Ward 36% with first time starters and Irad Ortiz in the irons means this filly will take a lot of money.

With 3 – Smile Awhile (10/1), 1 – Napier (4/1), 7 – Sugar Bow (30/1), and 6 – Amazing Audrey (5/2) all pressing each other on the lead, I’m looking for a pace meltdown and three entries closing the deal.

2 – Pep (5/1) Jose Oritz/Todd Pletcher combination who checked in the stretch in her last race and managed to get 4th place cash. Pep scored a win in her first out in mid- February at the same distance and pulled away handily.

8 – Screenwriter (20/1) jockey Florent Geroux is a wily sort and this is just the spot for him to squirrel this away in the end.

9 – Snuck Out (4/1) switch to jockey Corey Lanerie and pick up for this Into Mischief filly. In her two previous races, on turf, she has been a rock-n-roller in the stretch. The outside post will play to her advantage today.

9 – Secretly Wicked (20/1), 4 – Alec And Arthur (10/1) and 2 – Marva (10/1)

The other 4 last out winners got a clear lead and poured it on. When you read the form and watch the video, you ask yourself if they’re that talented or the others gave way? For 2yo’s? I’m taking the latter as the three mentioned above all had to fight to win.
