I’m A Gift (2) Steps up in class after losses vs less. Last race was a little better. Can pull an upset from this spot if she can improve off last. Shoreview (3) Pressured late on the lead and folded to finish 3rd. Can be tough tonight if allowed to relax on the lead. Funknwaffles (6) When in stroke, this one is close to a free-for-all pacer. Trouble is, he was a sick scratch last week and might need one now. Would win if feeling 100%. Meetyouatmidnight (1) Had the rail 3 races ago and was empty. Been empty ever since. Obviously, the rail can help him tonight.

Yonkers/Race 8
Somewhere Fancy (1) The Allard stable has been known to ‘pop’ first start out. After 2 qualifiers, he draws the rail. He could be tight enough to win from here. Art Scene (3) beat less in last on speedy last quarter. Will be close up to the action and has Kason Bartlett driving. That means he has a good chance. Time Out I’m Tired (8) had an 8 post win three starts ago against much less. He had some late foot last start from the 8 post but this is a tough spot. Bakersfield (6) had some sharp miles but he is also in a terrible spot. Still, he might sneak into the trifecta or superfecta.

Yonkers/Race 10
Fancy Creek Jolene (2) She is 0 for 10 this year but she fits well from this spot. The 2 post is a lift. Expect her to be on or near the lead. Might pull mild upset here. Amanderosa (3) cut modest fractions and still faded late. Had to figure her to win, but she might improve vs these. Chillin De Vie (5) often knocks at the door but there has been no answer. Shows solid races but is 0 for 8 this year. Tread lightly. Pittstop Danika (8) won slow-go from 5 post in last. That race was against much easier (slower). Obviously the post hurts tonight.
