Welcome back Golf Fans! After a rough 1-4 finish with our wagers on last week's CJ Cup Byron Nelson, we head to Charlotte, North Carolina at Quail Hollow Club for the Wells Fargo Championship. This is one of the tougher courses on tour, always presents a challenge, and we usually see the stars shine in this one.

One thing that I  love about this tournament is it leads up to our second major of the year, the PGA. This is a great test for some of the best players who are in the field, looking to sharpen their game once more before another major.

The final 3 holes are called “The Green Mile”, which is extremely challenging, to add to the already very long 7,558 yards. The course has narrow fairways, leading from tee to green, and scrambling is a top priority for the players in the field if they want to finish at the top.

Can Clark Repeat?

Wyndham Clark was last years winner, and though its not typically safe to take a repeat winner, his game lines up with this course, and the atmosphere. Clark has stepped up in a major way the last 2 seasons in the biggest events.

His long driving game suits this course perfectly, and with one of the better short games in the field, if he stays out of trouble, we could see a very high finish for Clark again.

Clark won this tournament last season and so far in 2024, he has a T3 (RBC), T2 (The Players), 2nd (Arnold Palmer), and 1st (ATT Pebble Beach), placing him 2nd best on tour this season in earnings and cup points, behind Scheffler.

Max Homa Will Continue His Solid Play

Homa comes in with (5) top 20 finishes on the season so far: T3 (Masters), T8 (Arnold Palmer), T16 (Genesis Open), T13 (Farmers), and T14 (Sentry). His game has again been on point this season, and he is a player that usually shows up in bigger events.

Last season Homa finished T8 in this tournament, and this is a great challenge for him to excel at before the PGA next week. He has won this event before, and playing on Bermuda greens, he always putts well.

Max handles pressure well, hits birdies when he needs to, and usually can avoid the damage with his strokes gained over the course of the whole tournament. He seems like a very solid play this week to place a wager!

Schauffele Will Cash For Us!

Schauffele is one of the best players on tour! He has finished top 10 in 7 of his 10 events this season, and he always plays well in the biggest events. X-Man finished 2nd here last year and I believe very strongly he will find the top 10 again here.

Schaffele has the 4th highest scoring average on tour at 68.9 and 19th in birdie average. He is sitting 6th in earnings this season and he will look to add to that this week.

He is one of the more accurate players on tour, ranking in the top in tee-to-green, strokes gained putting, and usually plays well on long par 4s and par 5s . He is one of the most consistent players on tour and consistency in golf wagers can win you money long term.

We are still in Vietnam, so please line shop! We are limited to what books and lines we can see and you may be able to get better lines on these players on DK or other platforms. Good luck this week, and lets cash some bets!
