Mark Wahlberg due in Atlantic City Friday for grand opening of Wahlburgers at Ocean Casino Resort

Movie titan Mark Wahlberg will be at Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort Friday, June 21 to officially open the gaming hall’s Wahlburgers outlet. The star of such flicks as “Boogie Nights,” “Invincible,” “The Departed” and “Ted” will be on hand between 6 and 8 p.m. at his burgertorium inside Ocean.

Wahlberg--who co-owns 31 Wahlburgers outlets with his actor-brother Donnie and their brother Paul, who serves as the operation’s executive chef—will, according to an Ocean press release, be there for a “limited meet and greet, photo and Wahlburgers giveaways available to public.”

Wahlberg is also scheduled to be the special guest at a free F45 outdoor track-training event on the Ocean beach. F45 is an increasingly popular fitness franchise with more than 1,700 locations around the world. The, uh, fun begins at 9 a.m., with an afternoon-long beach party blasting off at noon.

The festivities will kick off a week-long series of special events and promotions marking Ocean’s first birthday, which will officially be celebrated June 28.
