Boop on Eagles vs. Falcons Prop Bets - Carson Wentz, DeSean Jackon, Nelson Agholor, Miles Sanders, JJ Arcega-Whiteside and more . . .

Still trying to figure out how the Birds are laying only 2 to a team that didn’t score until the final seven minutes of a game they trailed by 28-0 last week.

The Falcons probably have to show something better in Week 2, but then so do the Eagles. Philly’s Birds win by at least a touchdown.

Eagles -6.5 (+180) . . . $4 to win $7.20

Eagles -9.5 (+270) . . . $3 to win $8.10

Eagles -13.5 (+410) . . . $2 to win $8.20

Eagles -19.5 (+700) . . . $1 to win $7.10

♦ It took the Eagles 20 minutes to score last Sunday and they held the Redskins scoreless for most of the second half, yet the two teams still combined for 59 points, leaving us just one point from sweeping our four Alternate Overs.

All of which means, the Eagles are going to have to have an Under game before I even considering not betting some Alternate Overs in a Reverse Pyramid.

And we are going a little deeper this week, with the Eagles’ defensive tackle Malik Jackson being lost for the season and the Falcons perhaps feeling they have some offensive things to prove.

Over 52.5 (-110) . . . $11 to win $10

Over 58.5 (-190) . . . $4 to win $7.60

Over 64.5 (-380) . . . $3 to win $11.40

Over 72.5 (-800) . . . $2 to win $16.00

Over 80.5 (-2900) . . . $1 to win $29.00

♦ Wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery had their fun last Sunday (two touchdowns each), so I am figuring this week may be the running backs' turn to break the plane.

And let’s take a couple of long-shot stabs at JJ Arcega-Whiteside, who will be looking to make up for his phantom holding call against the Redskins which negated a Miles Sanders TD. He played only five snaps and had no targets in Week 1, but that’s why his odds are so good.

And Nelson Agholor (who is as low as +$1600 to score the first TD at FOX Bet) is +3100 at FanDuel, so we will take a $3 shot there also.

To Score Any Touchdown in the Game:

$4 / $6.00 . . . Miles Sanders (+150)

$3 / $6.90 . . . Jordan Howard (+230)

$2 / $9.00 . . . Darren Sproles (+450)

$1 / $8.00 . . . JJ Arcega-Whiteside (+800)

To Score First TD in the Game:

$3 / $93.00 . . . Nelson Agholor (+3100)

$2 / $90.00 . . . JJ Arcega-Whiteside (+4500)

♦ We are thinking we will not be seeing too many long field goals from the Eagles this season, per Doug Pederson’s inclination to go for it on fourth down more often than most.

The Over/Under for Longest Made FG Sunday is 46.5 yards. Since the Eagles attempted only six of that length all last season (making two), that would leave it on the Falcons to convert one. And if the Eagles get an early lead, Atlanta will be thinking 7 points and not 3.

Longest FG Made Under 46.5 yards (-115) . . . $5 to win $4.35

♦ The Over/Under for the Longest TD was 39.5 in the Redskins game. It is 42.5 this week against the Falcons.

My guess is it will keep going up as long as the Over comes in, as it will once again this week.

Longest TD Over 42.5 yards (-115) . . . $5 to win $4.35

♦ We really like the Over 2.5 Touchdowns in the Second Half last week (and it hit), so naturally it is now up to 3.

Sure, we’ll go again, but a little lighter.

TDs in Second Half Over 3 (-104) . . . $3.12 / $3

♦ Finally, because of the plethora of apps here in New Jersey, you should be able to find at least a couple of individual Eagles yardage totals you can middle each game. This week we found three:

Carson Wentz Passing Yards

Over 280.5 (-115@DK) . . . $5 / $4.35

Under 296.5 (-120@WH) . . . $5 / $4.17

DeSean Jackson Receiving Yards

Over 51.5 (-120@WH) . . . $5 / $4.17

Under 59.5 (-115@DK) . . . $5 / $4.35

Nelson Agholor Receiving Yards

Over 29.5 (-108@FD) . . . $5 / $4.63

Under 37.5 (-120@WH) . . . $5 / $4.17

The worst we can do on these is lose $2.49 (3 x $0.83), so middling even just one of them makes it very profitable. Nail all three, and we are talking enough money for an extra large pizza and bread sticks!
