Today, it’s gonna be one from Column A (for one reason) and another from Column B (for a different reason) in a huge parlay in the hopes to pad the bank account for Big Soccer Sunday . . .
Bryce Harper has now gone nine consecutive games without homering at Shea Stadium − errr, sorry, Citi Field − home of the New York Mets.
That is the longest New York homer drought in his career, so it’s got to come to an end some time soon. Let’s make it tonight.
And since soccer will take center stage Sunday, let’s dabble a bit with it on Saturday.
Kacper Przybylko has scored in three consecutive matches for the first-place Union. In fact, he has scored four of their seven goals scored over that time, so let’s ride him again. Especially since this is the second half of a home-and-home with Orlando City, on which he tallied twice Wednesday.
Parlay: Harper to Homer & Przybylko to Score ($5/+1200)
