The Monday Philly Props: Julie Ertz, Carli Lloyd, not Phillies

It appears Zach Ertz’ better half has shaken off her hip contusion (coach Jill Ellis said she is “fine”), so we expect her back on the pitch Monday as the U.S. Women’s team enters knockout play in the World Cup.

We’re never sure if Carli Lloyd is starting or not, but it doesn’t seem to matter. The ball just tends to radiate toward her whenever she plays.

Once again, we have various wagers down on the Ertz and Lloyd to score in the Noon (ET) match with Spain, but we are already guaranteed a winner because we don’t have to dig deep to find something to wager on that group of men impersonating a baseball team at Citizens Bank Park these days.
