The Friday Philly Props: Phillies, Scott Kingery, Jay Bruce, Nick Pivetta

Big series so we have to go with the Phillies two big home run hitters to connect tonight.

No, not Bryce Harper and Rhys Hoskins! Of course, we mean Jay Bruce and Scott Kingery!

Bruce has homered in each of the two road games he has started for the Phillies (June 4-5, at San Diego), as he did in his last road start as a Mariner (May 26, at Oakland).

Kingery is more of a home-game home-run guy (12 of the 15 in his career at Citizens Bank Park), but he has come up big lately (two dingers Tuesday), so we’re looking for him to rise to the occasion.

Just for fun, we shopped around for a Nick Pivetta strikeout line. Most of them looked like even money (+100) or less for over Over 5.5 and then we found a +115, which was enough to pull the trigger for a guy who has struck out six, nine and six in his last three outings.
