TUESDAY’S SINGLE DIGITS

>>> The Phillies are just 3-3 in their first game back at Citizens Bank Park after Billy Joel has played there (2009 with Elton John, 2014-19), but they are 6-0 in the second game back. And they started homestands with winning streaks post-Billy in 2014 (three wins), 2017 (three wins) and 2018 (four wins).

The only time The Who played in a Phillies stadium was July 9-10, 1989. The Phils returned home and split a doubleheader with the Astros (11-4 win, 3-0 loss).

>>> The Phillies’ Scott Kingery is hitting .375 as a starter (18-40) and just .250 off the bench (2-8).

>>> All-time Blues scoring in the Stanley Cup Finals (13 games):

19 . . . Goals scored
19 . . . Goals allowed in the third period

4 . . . Goals scored in third period
3 . . . Goals allowed in overtime

23 . . . Goals allowed to the Canadiens (8 games)
24 . . . Goals allowed to the Bruins (5 games)

>>> When asked about free agency recently, JJ Redick said he would love to come back to the Sixers, but he would keep all his options open.

“I would go play in Anchorage, Alaska,” he said.

Well, Redick has played in Anchorage . . . in the Great Alaska Shootout as a freshman at Duke in 2003.

He shot 4-for-19 on three-pointers and scored 35 points over three games as the Blue Devils made it to the Championship contest before being topped by Purdue. As usual, he was perfect from the foul line (9-for-9).

QUICKIE QUIZ ANSWER

>>> Cesar Hernandez, Maikel Franco and Hector Neris are the only Phillies at play at CBP each of the last six seasons (2014-19), Neris appearing in just one game in 2014 . . . Aaron Altherr would have been the fourth, but he played just two games for the Phillies in 2014, both on the road.
